ANNOUNCEMENTS BY THE HON. PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE

ERROR ON THE ORDER PAPER

          THE HON. PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE: I wish to draw the attention of the Senate to an error on today’s Order Paper where Order of the Day, Number 1 on the Second Report of the Thematic Committee on Gender and Development on Early Child Marriages has been erroneously reflected as the First Report of the Thematic Committee on Gender and Community Development on the Status of Children’s Homes.

LAUNCH OF THE ZWPC STRATEGIC PLAN AND THE “HE-FOR-SHE CAMPAIGN”

          THE HON. PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE: I also wish to inform the Senate that the Presiding Officers of Parliament will launch the Zimbabwe Women’s Parliamentary Caucus Strategic Plan and the He-for-She Campaign on Wednesday, 5th October, 2016 in the Parliament courtyard at 9:00 a.m. The He-for-She Campaign is a solidarity campaign for gender equality initiated by the UN Women.
