  1. The President of the Senate apologised to the Senate for the mal-functioning of the bells that summon the Senate to meet.

 

  1. The President of the Senate informed Honourable Senators to collect their 2009 diaries from the Public Relations Department at Pax House.

 

  1. The President of the Senate informed the Senate that the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus in conjunction with Women in Politics Support Unit

(WiPSU) had invited all Senators to a luncheon commemorating the

International Women’s Day at Rainbow Towers and that the bus would leave Parliament building at 1100 hours on Wednesday 18th March 2009.

 

  1. Adjourned debate on motion in reply to the Presidential Speech. (Adjourned

10th February 2009 –The Minister of Foreign Affairs
