- The President of the Senate apologised to the Senate for the mal-functioning of the bells that summon the Senate to meet.
- The President of the Senate informed Honourable Senators to collect their 2009 diaries from the Public Relations Department at Pax House.
- The President of the Senate informed the Senate that the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus in conjunction with Women in Politics Support Unit
(WiPSU) had invited all Senators to a luncheon commemorating the
International Women’s Day at Rainbow Towers and that the bus would leave Parliament building at 1100 hours on Wednesday 18th March 2009.
